ITINERARY
Day 01 – Haifa – Mt. Tabor - Galilee – Tiberius
You will be met on arrival at Aman-jordan Airport early in the morning and assisted through immigration. After breakfast en route to the North we shall travel onwards to Haifa, Israel's largest port city, built on the slopes of Mt. Carmel. Visit the famous Persian Hanging Gardens for a view of the Bahai Shrine. We then make a brief halt at the Elijah cave at Stella Marris and then we continue to Muhraqa, the place of sacrifice and the site where Prophet Elijah defeated the False Prophets of Ba'al. From here we continue to Mt. Tabor, the site of the Transfiguration of Jesus. For today your tour ends at Tiberius nestled on the Sea of Galilee where Jesus performed many miracles.

Day 02 – Galilee - Capernaum – Cana - Nazareth
This morning we drive through the landscapes of Galilee and later for a ride in a replica of a Galilean fishing boat of that time, on the Sea of Galilee and where Jesus calmed the storm and walked on the water, visit Capernaum - the center of Jesus' ministry after He left Nazareth. We stop at Tabgha- the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes and the expressive Church of the Beatitudes, where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount. We make a brief halt at St. Peter's house, the Church of Primacy of Peter and the place where Jesus bestowed St. Peter with His authority. This is believed to be the place where Jesus dined with His disciples. The flat Rock known as Mensa Christ or Christ's table commemorates this event. In the afternoon we visit Cana where Jesus performed His first Miracle, changing water into wine at the wedding feast. Then on to Nazareth, the boyhood town of Jesus and home of Mary and Joseph and visit the Basilica of the Annunciation built over the grotto where Archangel Gabriel appeared to announce that she would bear a son, Jesus. We'll visit also Joseph's workshop. Return to your Hotel in the Galilee for Dinner and overnight
Day 03 - Jordan Valley - Jericho –Qumran – Dead Sea - Jerusalem
Today you will leave Galilee for Jerusalem via the Jordan Valley. We stop at Yardenit on the Jordan River, the traditional baptismal, site, and then drive along the Jordan Valley bypassing the Ancient city of Jericho, believed to be the oldest city on earth, and visiting Mt. Qarantal, (with cable car) where Jesus spent 40 days when Satan tried to tempt him. It is also the place where Jesus stopped on his way to Jerusalem, on the Eve of the Passover and were Jesus cured the blind man during his stay at Zachaeus house. Descend to the Dead Sea' the lowest point on earth (400 m. below sea level), after visiting Qumran, the caves where the Dead Sea scrolls were found, make a brief stop at a private beach and take the opportunity to float in the salty buoyant water, rich in minerals. We drive along the Judean Wilderness to the city of Jerusalem.

Day 04 – Ein Karem – Mt. Zion - Bethlehem
We will visit Ein Karem - the city of Judah and birthplace of John the Baptist, son of Elizabeth & Zechariah and the Church of Visitation. We then visit Mt Zion with the upper room and King David's Tomb. We also visit the church of St. Peter Gallicantu the site where Jesus was imprisoned by the High Priest before he was turned over to the Romans and the church of Dormition. Continue to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. Visit the Church of Nativity and the Manger Square and view the Shepherds Fields.

Day 05 – Mt of Olives – Bethany - Garden of Gethsemane Garden Tomb
We start in the morning visiting the Mt of Olives with the Church of Ascension, which commemorates the ascents of Jesus to heaven, the Pater Noster Church where Jesus taught prayers to his Disciples according to tradition. Then continue to the panoramic view of Mt. of Olives and from there, along the Sunday Palm Tree Road by foot to the Gethsemane Gardens where Jesus was arrested, on the way visit the Dominus Flavit Church, where Jesus wept over the coming destruction of Jerusalem. The chapel is built in the shape of a tear as a poignant reminder to this event. Visit Bethany, the home of the siblings Mary, Martha and Lazarus. From here we continue to visit Garden Tomb, located outside the city walls and close to the Damascus Gate and are considered by some to be the site of the burial and resurrection of Jesus and to be adjacent to Golgotha. We will have Farewell Ceremony. We called this ceremony JP for Jerusalem Pilgrim, each pilgrim will receive golden Cross badge and a certificate signed by the Mayor of Jerusalem.
Return to your Hotel in Bethlehem for Dinner and overnight.
Day 06: Old City of Jerusalem - Jaffa -Airport
After breakfast and check-out we take today the Via Dolorosa (Way of Grief), traditionally accepted as the last route by Jesus. We will follow the Stations of the Cross to the Golgotha, the place where Jesus was crucified marking significant events along the route; the Chapel of the Flagellation where, according to tradition, the Roman soldiers scourged Jesus and placed the thorn crown on His head, and the Ecce Homo Arch. Early tradition held that Pontius Pilate stood here and thundered "Ecce Homo!" which means "Behold the man!" which is what Pilate said when he presented Jesus to the crowd. Below the Convent is the "Floor" where Jesus was publicly tried and where the Roman soldiers mocked him. The last 5 Stations of the Cross are inside the Church of the Holy Sepulcher visible from the distance, with its two silver domes. Also "The Tomb" widely believed to be part of the stone that covered Jesus Tomb. From here we continue to the western wall and onwards along the Ella Valley and Latrun, a strategic Hilltop overlooking the city of Jerusalem to Tel Aviv & Jaffa to see the house of Simon the Tanner and visit St. Peter's Church. (If Time permits) From here we drive to the Airport for your departure flight. Shalom and good bye hope to welcome you very soon back to Israel.
